School success starts with good attendance! Students are required per state law (WIS.Stat.Sec.118.15) to attend school on a regular basis. It is expected that children have less than 10 absences or tardies for the academic year. Should your child miss school for any reason you must call the attendance line before 9:00 am on the day of the absence and state why your child will not be in school or they will be marked as truant. The attendance line is available to call 24 hours a day. A tardy is recorded for students who arrive late or depart early. Students leaving during the day and returning are also marked accordingly.
If your child goes to the doctor or dentist, please grab a note from the Doctor’s office that states your child's name and date of visit. If you turn in the note from the doctor to the school office, your child’s absence will be coded differently and will not be considered an absence or tardy.
