ACP is a component of the Slinger School District 6-12 Comprehensive School Counseling Model that strives to meet the social/emotional, academic and career planning needs of all students. The focus of ACP is on the process to build relationships that inform, support and mentor students through activities and experiences that help them to plan for their educational, training and career goals.
ACP is intended to equip students and their families with the tools necessary to make more informed choices about postsecondary education, training, careers for life after high school. It is part of Wisconsin Department of Instruction's overall vision for every student to graduate high school academically, socially, emotionally, and life ready.
