Fundraising Drive Now Over One MILLION Dollars!
In 2009 an anonymous donor came forward and pledged $150,000 in matching funds for each dollar raised toward new or updated equipment in the manufacturing areas. Thanks to the generosity of local civic groups (see list below), generous individuals, our advisory board and local companies, we have been able to purchase and updated equipment in every one of our labs! This includes items such as a CNC laser cutter, CNC mills, CNC lathes, CNC plasma cutter and a CNC router. As well as a plastic injection molder, 3-D printers, laser engraver, new welders, wide-format printer, vinyl cutter, other metals/manufacturing equipment and woodworking equipment and materials.
Donations are still welcomed as continue striving for improvement. Any individuals, businesses or organizations who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact Russ Hermann, Department Chairman, at 262-644-5261.
