The School District of Slinger believes that the total education of the young people entrusted to it extends beyond the classroom. As such, the district encourages and supports co-curricular programs which enhance the curricular program, provide for student service and leadership, develop physical and artistic skills, and provide opportunities for group activities. These student activities are divided into two distinct groups, depending upon governance by Slinger High School’s Activity Code.
Activities governed by the Activity Code include: DECA, FHA, FFA, The Nite Crier, National Honor Society, Math Team, Computer Team, Peer Listeners, Homecoming Court, Prom Court, Skills USA, Snowball Court, Student Council, Class Officers, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz, Pep Band, Ski Club, Color Guard, Debate, Forensics, Musical, Solo & Ensemble, Academic Decathlon, and Spirit Squad.
Activities not governed by the Activity Code include: Spanish Club, German Club, Amnesty International, Yearbook, S.A.D.D, Volunteer Corps, Science Club, Graphics Club, One Act Play, Scrapbooking Club, and Environmental Club.
Students should see the specific activity advisor for more information:
